City replaces Texas mayor killed in donkey attack

HOLLYWOOD PARK, TX

The Hollywood Park City Council on Tuesday night chose businessman Mark Perry to succeed Mayor William "Bill" Bohlke.

Bohlke's body was located Aug. 27 by searchers after he didn't return home from his Atascosa County ranch.

Mayor Pro Tem Steve Phillips says Perry was the only person to submit a resume to become mayor.

The San Antonio Express-News reports Perry is a political newcomer with 18 years of business operations and sales executive experience. He's worked for Globalscape, Fujitsu America, Symantec and AT&T Technical Services Co.

Hollywood Park is a city of about 3,000 located just north of San Antonio.
