UH offensive coordinator Mike Nesbitt resigns after one game

HOUSTON

UH announced the resignation Monday. Cougars assistant coach Travis Bush will take over the play-calling duties on offense while also handling the QB coaching position. Ken McClintock will assume Bush's role of coaching running backs.

"We wish Mike the best in his future endeavors and thank him for his contributions to the Houston program," said UH head coach Tony Levine. "We are confident in Travis and his play-calling ability moving forward."

Bush spent last season as Texas-San Antonio's offensive coordinator after three years as co-offensive coordinator at Texas State.
