Witness spots killer fleeing scene in SW Houston

A man was found shot multiple times outside a townhome complex in southwest Houston.

Police are trying to determine what led up to a deadly shooting in southwest Houston.

It happened at around 11:45pm Tuesday on West Parkwest near Harwin. Tenants of the Parkwest Townhomes heard six to eight gunshots coming from the street outside their homes. Police say one of the tenants looked out the window and saw a black male crouched down and walking quickly away from another man lying in the street.

The victim, Osasuyi Victor Uhunmwangho, 27, of Katy, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect is described only as a black male about 6 feet tall, weighing 200 to 250 pounds. Police say he was wearing a white T-shirt and blue or black denim pants. It is believed he fled in a gray or silver Dodge Charger.
