Houston FBI trying to ID "Band-Aid Bandit"

HOUSTON

It happened around 10:50am at Chase Bank, 11560 Westheimer Road.

According to the Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force, a man with a Band-Aid on his cheek entered the bank and waited in line. When he approached the counter at his turn, he handed the teller a note demanding money.

Officials said the man claimed to have a gun.

The teller gave the robber some cash and he left the building. No one saw which direction he went.

No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The man was described a black male in his early 20s. He was 5 feet 6 inches with a slender build.

He wore a baseball cap, a blue and grey long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and black and yellow tennis shoes. The bandage was on his left cheek.
