Deputies were called out to a home in New Caney by a woman who said her estranged husband was trying to break in. As they reached the area, they spotted William Moss, 40, in a vehicle matching the description of the suspected man's car.
Deputies tried to stop him but Moss took off into the woods.
Moss finally stopped after crashing through fences and trees. He tried to run away on foot, but deputies caught up to him and fearing he may have a weapon, used a Taser to subdue him.
Moss told deputies he didn't have any clothes on because he had just ran out of the home of his mistress when her husband came home early. They say he was not the subject of the original call.
He is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and felony evading arrest.
