Man suspected of killing girlfriend sought

Police are asking for help in their search for a man suspected of killing his girlfriend.

Erica Venegas, 36, was shot in the head at close range last month. She was found dead inside her boyfriend's apartment at 9400 Coventry Square.

Her boyfriend of five years, Edwin Salinas, is now charged with her murder. Salinas also has a tattoo with the name 'Erica' on his chest.

So far, no word yet on a motive.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
