Three Houston men accused of burglarizing Richmond area home

HOUSTON

At about 12:30pm Wednesday, Fort Bend County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home in the 1900 block of Old Prairie Court in Pecan Grove. A witness told deputies he had seen two black males entering the fenced yard of a residence. He then saw the men get into a vehicle and the witness took down the license plate number and notified authorities.

A deputy with the Precinct 3 Constable's Office spotted the vehicle and the suspects were eventually stopped by deputies as well as the deputy constable on FM 359 near the intersection of Highway 90A.

Deputies say two suspects jumped out of the vehicle and ran, while one suspect stayed with the vehicle. All three were arrested and remain in the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

According to deputies, the suspects had jewelry and currency valued at more than $1,700 in their possession.

Shannon Ward, 22, and Calvin Landor, 23, are charged with burglary of a habitation and evading arrest. Xavier Cain, 21, is charged with burglary of a habitation.
