Sketches released of two suspects in NW Harris Co. murder

The first suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male with a slight build, standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-11. He's believed to be in his twenties. The second suspect is described as a light to medium-skinned black male with an average build, standing approximately 5-foot-11 and is in his late teens to early twenties.

Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office have released sketches of two capital murder suspects in hopes that you can help them find the killers.

On Monday at around 3am, deputies responded to a shooting in the 9000 block of Jones Road in northwest Harris County. They arrived to find Alexander Segura, 28, injured with a gunshot wound that he reportedly sustained during a robbery.

Segura was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where died from his injuries.

Investigators say Segura and a female companion had been sitting in a vehicle at the apartment complex when two men robbed them at gunpoint. Segura was reportedly shot while chasing the suspects after the robbery.

The first suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male with a slight build, standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-11. He's believed to be in his 20s.

The second suspect is described as a light to medium-skinned black male with an average build, standing approximately 5-foot-11 and is in his late teens to early 20s.
