Houston police say that an apartment resident in the 5500 block of El Camino Del Ray complained to the maintenance staff about water pouring through the bathroom ceiling at about 4:30pm Monday. When the maintenance worker investigated the apartment above, he found a man on the floor with a blanket over him and blood on the wall. The victim had suffered cuts to his throat and upper chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim's identity has not been released.
