Police are looking for clues in the death of a man whose burned body was found in a field yesterday afternoon near Bush Intercontinental Airport.

A driver discovered the body on Birnam Wood near FM 1960. Investigators say a caller reported a fire near the area yesterday morning, but did not give a specific address.

Firefighters searched the area, but didn't find anything. Police say that call may be connected to the victim's death.

"We have some evidence that we're looking at at the scene, although we're still trying to determine whether it's related or not to this incident," said Sgt. Ryan Chandler with the Houston Police Department.

An autopsy has been ordered to determine the victim's identity and cause of death. Anyone with information about this case is urged to call police.
