High speed appears to be cause of deadly rollover wreck

HOUSTON

The crash happened around 4:30am at Fallbrook and Ann Louise. Deputies say the man driving was going too fast westbound on Fallbrook, went around a curve and lost control of his vehicle. He hit the median causing his vehicle to roll several times. He was thrown from the SUV and died at the scene.

Police are waiting for test results to see if alcohol was involved.

"With the time of day and the speed of the vehicle involved, certainly it's a possibility. But we'll have to wait until we get the report from the Medical Examiner's office to determine whether he was intoxicated," said Sgt. S. Wolverton with the Harris Co. Sheriff's Office.

No one else was involved in the crash.
