Police looking for witnesses to father's murder

HOUSTON

Now his family is asking for anyone who may have seen what happened to please come forward.

Police say Trey was driving around with a friend in a parking lot near 10300 South Gessner when he was shot several times. Surveillance video shows the shooter was a passenger in a red Chevy Impala.

Trey's friend suffered minor injuries, but Trey died instantly, leaving behind two young children and a fiancée who he was going to marry the following week.

Police say the shooting appears to be completely random.

"Trey and his companion were just driving down the road," said HPD's Sgt. Colin Howard. "The investigation at this point has not revealed they were doing anything wrong."

"I love him. I miss him so much," said Trey's mother, Judy Ross. "Anybody who knows anything, please help us bring this to justice."

Police have interviewed several witnesses but they do believe more people saw this happen. Again, the suspect in this case was driving a red Chevy Impala.

If you have any information, you are asked to contact Houston police.
