A roommate feud ended with deadly gunfire early this morning in northwest Harris County

It happened in the 5300 block of Grand Forest near Kieth Harrow. Deputies told us two male housemates got into an argument just before 4am and one man shot the other. The victim is said to be in his 40's and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is not being released pending notification of family.

Our cameras were there when the roommate was taken out of the residence shirtless, in boxers and with blood on his hands.

It's not clear what sparked the argument, but we're told the suspect was the one who called police.

The suspect's son told Eyewitness News that his dad took the victim in to help with his financial situation.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says the case is being presented to the grand jury without charges.
