Cypress man accused of possessing hundreds of images of child pornography

HOUSTON

On July 26, 2010, Department of Homeland Security investigators say they discovered that Bruce Robert Estep was sharing dozens images and a video of child pornography though a social networking site. Investigators say that the IP address downloads were registered to Estep.

In April 2011, investigators executed a search warrant at Estep's Cypress residence and seized multiple computers and digital memory devices. They say they found more than 500 images of child pornography on those devices.

Investigators say Estep admitted that the computers and devices were his, that no one else had access to them and that he admitted that he had seen child porn on more than one occasion.

Estep, 49, is facing two counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of promotion of child pornography.
