The shooting happened shortly before 7:45pm at South Gessner near Twin Hill.
Detectives say two people were shot in their vehicle. The driver died in the car and the passenger was taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest, where he died.
Detectives haven't yet determined the circumstances surrounding the shooting and what led up to it.
