One of those victims is now dead, and police say a child witnessed part of the attack.
It happened around 10:30pm Saturday on Dacca at Dulcimer.
Police say two men, a woman and her small child were talking outside when a car pulled up. Two armed men stormed out of the vehicle.
One of the suspects forced the woman and child inside the house at gunpoint. That's when the other gunman shot the two men.
One victim died at the scene. The other suffered a gunshot wound to his arm and was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital. At last check, he was stable.
According to investigators, the suspects took off in a white Dodge Magnum with a hatchback.
The motive remains unclear.
