HOUSTON

The victim told police that on May 18 he called up a chat line and talked to a woman he didn't know. He says they agreed to meet at the Parkway Inn Motel on I-10 in Channelview.

Shortly after the man arrived, someone began banging on the motel room door, court documents state. The victim says the woman let in a man who began hitting the victim, knocking him to the floor.

The victim told authorities that the man went through his pockets and then threatened him with his own knife. The couple allegedly grabbed the victim's property, including his car keys, and fled in the his car.

Officials say Sophia Rene Lopez, 30, had rented the motel room. The victim identified her from a photo lineup. When a Harris County Sheriff's deputy interviewed Lopez, she reportedly confessed to the crime, and implicated her boyfriend, Clyde Jones, as her accomplice.

Lopez and Jones are both charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Bail in the case has been set at $30,000.
