The first is on the northbound lanes of Interstate 59 between Chimney Rock and Rice Avenue. The three left lanes will be closed from 9pm Friday until 5am Monday. Crews will be working on bridge and pavement repairs. While the other three lanes will still be open, the Texas Department of Transportation is advising you avoid this area during the closure, if possible.
The other closure is of the connector ramp between the northbound Gulf Freeway and northbound 59. This ramp will also be closed from 9pm Friday to 5am Monday.
