Robbery suspect caught after chase in NW Houston

HOUSTON

SkyEye 13 HD was over the scene Wednesday morning in northwest Harris County on Brownie Campbell and Antoine when police arrested the shirtless tattooed suspect. Police say the man led them on chase using a stolen unmarked police car.

Eventually the man drove down a dead end street, jumped out of the car and tried to climb a fence, but officers had him boxed in.

Police say the man had been on a crime spree.

"In fact, the county was out here and says he's probably going to be good for about eight robberies in their area and there's a bunch in our area. I mean this guy was not gonna stop until he got arrested and today he was hooked," said Orus Baker Baldwin with the Houston Police Department.

The man faces multiple charges.
