Firefighters responded to a fire at the family's home Monday morning in the Magnolia Bend subdivision.
Firefighters say the three boys living there asked them for food and say they had not eaten in a while. The home has no electricity, running water or gas.
The mother says she has no way to care for her sons, ages seven, 12, 14. The boys' father went to prison 19 months ago.
Child Protective Services has custody of the boys.
