Man charged in 14-year-old San Antonio slaying

SAN ANTONIO, TX

Quentin Henry is in Bexar County Jail with bond set at $250,000, charged with murder in the 1997 barroom slaying of Kimberly Coleman. No attorney is listed on Henry's jail record.

A police affidavit says the 36-year-old man walked into San Antonio police headquarters Tuesday and demanded to speak with cold-case detectives and turn himself in for Coleman's slaying.

The affidavit says Henry told police that he and two friends drove to a bar where one friend was feuding with a bouncer. He said he fired 10 shots from a handgun at the door, hitting Coleman inside. She died three days later.

The two friends are held on murder charges.
