Sandy Springs Police Department spokesman Capt. Steve Rose says Michael Parson was arrested near Tyler, Texas, just before midnight Saturday. Authorities say Parson was taken into custody without incident and he is being held in the Van Zandt County Jail in Canton, Texas.
Authorities have warrants for the arrest of Michael Parson, whom they accuse of being involved in the April 20 shooting of his wife, Adina Parson. The warrants accuse the husband of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, a firearm offense and making false statements.
Parson had not been seen for several days.
Family members said the wounded woman is starting to move her arms and legs. She is unable to speak.
