Boy, 13, busted for spray painting own house

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX

Police tell the Corpus Christi Caller-Times the boy was in a group of three youths Wednesday who had previous run-ins with officers, including the previous night when he was given a curfew citation. The latest damage was estimated at $1,700 to his home, auto dealer signs and fences.

The boy's mother said he'd been sneaking out. While police were speaking with her, the boy ran from his home and tried to hide. His father found him and he was turned over to officers and took him to the Nueces County Juvenile Justice Center.
