HCSO: Off-duty deputy constable found passed out behind wheel of parked vehicle with young child inside

Precinct 3 Deputy Henry Williams faces charges of DWI with child under 15 after he was found passed out in a vehicle by authorities.

A Harris County deputy constable is facing DWI charges after he was found passed out in a car with a child on the side of a road in northeast Harris County.

Precinct 3 Deputy Henry Williams is charged with DWI with child under 15.

The Harris Co. Sheriff's Office says they got a call Thursday evening about a driver slumped over the wheel of a parked vehicle in the 12400 block of Stonefield Manor near C.E. King Parkway. Deputies arrived to the residential neighborhood to find an Williams passed out behind the wheel of his private vehicle with a young child inside.

According to deputies, Williams wasn't moving when they found him. He was detained by HCSO and was taken to a hospital for a blood draw.

A family member came to get that child that was in the car with him.

His bond was set at $10,000. Williams has bonded out and his next court date is May 7.
