The zoo set up a Mother Earth maze in which kids have to make correct choices about recycling to make it through to the end.
The zoo is also holding zookeeper chats so children can learn more abouthow animals are affected by the way we treat the planet. Plus, there are activities, crafts, music, games and more, including a scavenger hunt that lets children follow a map to explore the zoo and learn about endangered species.
Houston Zoo's Earth Day events resume Sunday at 10am. All activities are included with your paid zoo admission.
