The incident happened around 11:45pm Tuesday at the Chevron gas station in the 3500 block of Elgin.
A student told university police she was approached by three men wearing ski masks and was forced to go behind the gas station, where they attempted to sexually assault her. The student managed to fight the suspects off, and they fled the scene.
The suspects were described only as three possible white men.
