Indonesian quakes blamed for 5 fatal heart attacks

BANDA ACEH, Indonesia

No other deaths were reported from Wednesday's temblors, but several people were injured as they tried to flee to high ground.

The temblors awoke memories of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which claimed 230,000 lives in nearly a dozen countries, but the damage from the 8.6-magnitude quake and its 8.2-magnitude aftershock was minimal.

Aside from a few cracks in the walls of houses in hardest hit Aceh province and structural damage to one bridge, amazed residents said Thursday it almost felt like nothing had happened.

The quakes triggered a tsunami watch for countries as far away as Africa, but no large wave developed.
