An investigation is underway after officials discovered what they believe is a marijuana 'grow house' in northwest Harris County.

The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office was called to the home in the 11000 block of Ferndale Way to evict the residents there. When they entered, they discovered the operation.

They say the residence appeared to be abandoned, though all rooms in the two-story home were filled with marijuana plants.

Aside from the 788 marijuana plants discovered there, investigators also found grow lights and watering systems in each room.

The value of the marijuana was estimated to be approximately $3,546,000, or $4,500 per plant.

No arrests have been made, but the case remains under investigation.
