Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is now offering up to $5,000 cash for information in the theft of a Boy Scout troop's cargo trailer.

We first brought you this story last month on Eyewitness News at 6pm. Thieves stole the trailer from a church parking lot in Rosenberg between March 11 and March 13. The troop's leader told us the trailer contained about $10,000 worth of camping equipment.

"Who steals from Boy Scouts or stuff that's parked in front of a church?" asked Larry Grissett, Scout Master Troop 1630.

"We had a bunch of tents for all of the boys, as well as a bunch of backpacking tents, Dutch ovens, chimneys, all the propane bottles, lanterns, patrol boxes, custom made patrol boxes," said Rick Conley, Troop 1630 Advisor.

The white, unmarked trailer has a Texas license plate number 31Y YFL.

If you have any information, call Ft. Bend Co. Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.
