Man accused of abandoning kids at rodeo

HOUSTON

Ralph Randall Robinson, 21, is charged with three counts of abandoning a child. On Sunday, Robinson reportedly attended the rodeo with three young relatives.

Prosecutors say that at about 5pm, authorities were notified there were three young children, ages four, six and seven, in section 339 without parental supervision. A witness said the children were crying because they were hungry, and she bought them some food.

Robinson was reportedly located in section 133 approximately two hours later, at 7pm.

Robinson appeared before a judge on Monday. Bail has been set at $6,000. He remains in custody.
