Reward going up in shooting death of medical student

Crime Stoppers and HPD are doubling the reward for information on the murder of an Iranian medical student.

Gelareh Bagherzadeh, 30, was shot to death in January inside her car just feet from her parents townhome in the Galleria.

There are still no solid leads on who might have killed her and no one seems to know the motive. But authorities hope the new reward of $10,000 will help them track down answers.
