Javier Rodriguez, 22, is charged with capital murder. Carolina Sausedo, 20, is charged with injury to a child by omission. Emergency responders were called to the family's home on Monday because their daughter Alexa wasn't breathing.
Court records show Rodriguez hit the baby's head with an unknown object.
