Santorum strategy hinges on Ohio, Okla., and Tenn.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI

Santorum lost Arizona and Michigan to Romney Tuesday night. But he says his campaign "held up pretty well" after being vastly outspent in Michigan, where Romney was born and his father served as governor. Because the finish was close, the two will essentially split Michigan's GOP delegates.

Next week's 10 Super Tuesday contests will be crunch time for Santorum's bid to dislodge Romney as the apparent Republican front-runner.

On his way from Michigan to Tennessee, Santorum told Steve Gill's Nashville-based radio show Wednesday that "obviously we need to do well" in Ohio, Oklahoma and Tennessee on Super Tuesday. Washington votes Saturday.
