Denise Ann Ferguson, 45, is charged with aggravated assault of a family member. According to court documents, on February 16, Ferguson and her boyfriend were having an argument in their apartment in the 500 block of El Dorado over a trip he wanted to take out of state to see a family member.
The victim told police that as he left to go pack, Ferguson struck him with an alcohol bottle, which broke. She then reportedly struck him with the broken bottle, which resulted in cuts on his abdomen.
The victim told police that as he tried to leave, Ferguson grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in both forearms and left hand. He was able to get away and call police.
The victim was taken to Southeast Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries. No bond has been set in the case.
