It all started after a woman claimed her husband, Kevin Boney, had shot at her as she arrived at their home on County Road 2134 just outside of Cleveland. Deputies say Boney came out of his home wearing a body armor and carrying several weapons and extra ammunition.
After about an hour, Boney surrendered to deputies, but they say he argued that they had no authority over him and said he should have killed them.
Boney is a convicted felon with a long criminal history. He now faces several new charges.
