Two ex-law students sue Texas Southern University over 'D' grades

HOUSTON

Karla Ford and Jonathan Chan say they both they received a 'D' in one class, which caused them to be kicked out of the program. The visiting professor of that course is also named in the lawsuit.

The students claim the grades were not based on performance and that their professor refused to reveal how their final grade was calculated.

The students' appeals to the university were denied. They are now seeking $75,000 in damages.
