FBI spokeswoman Shauna Dunlap says John "Steven" Stark was caught around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in Beaumont.
Dunlap says a Prosperity Bank branch was robbed Wednesday morning. Nobody was hurt. The suspect fled.
Dunlap says Stark was about to get into a taxi, outside Parkdale Mall, when he was arrested without incident. A car that Stark allegedly had used was found in the mall parking lot.
Stark earlier was charged with a Jan. 30 bank robbery in Beaumont. He was wanted for questioning in the Feb. 2 holdup of a bank in Houston. Surveillance video, released to the media, showed a robber wearing sunglasses atop his head.
