Antonio Jerrell Ary and Rafeale Ross are charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. According to court documents, on November 26, 2011 the victim says Ary and Ross showed up at the front door of his friend's apartment in the 12900 block of Brant Rock Drive, claiming they were police officers. Ary and Ross, wearing black clothing and bandanas, then kicked in the apartment door. Ary was also armed with a gun.
The victim says he opened up the patio door and jumped off from the third floor. Court documents state Ary shot at the victim four times and struck him once in the arm. The victim says he ran into another apartment to call police and saw Ross leaving his apartment with the victim's video gaming system.
Three days later, the victim was at a friend's place when he looked out the window and saw a white SUV drive by and shoot once into a tire on his vehicle. While the victim was on the phone with police to report the incident, he received a phone call from a man who stated he shot his car. Police say the number was traced back to Ross.
Court documents show that investigators obtained information that Ary was the person who shot the victim. Police say the victim picked Ary and Ross out of photo lineups as the suspects.
Ary, 19, and Ross, 19 are in custody. Both men have prior convictions.
Bond has been set at $50,000.
