A house party in northwest Houston turned violent overnight and ended with gunfire.

The party was at a home on Arncliffe near Challie.

According to police, a group of men was standing in the driveway around 12:30am when a white Ford Explorer pulled up.

A man in the SUV allegedly asked the men if they belonged to a gang. When they replied, someone from the vehicle started shooting, police said.
