The three outside northbound lanes of the highway from Parker Road to Little York Road will be shut down. The northbound entrance ramps from Tidwell Road and Parker Road also will be closed. Drivers are asked to used the Little York entrance ramp instead.
Meanwhile, the northbound exit ramp to Little York Road will be closed, so commuters are asked to take the Gulf Bank exit ramp.
One lane heading northbound on the highway will also be closed at Shepherd Hill Road.
For drivers heading toward downtown on Intersate 45, the southbound exit ramp to Crosstimbers Street will be closed from 2 to 3pm.
