The Wood County Sheriff's Department says Russell Allen Love of Quitman was jailed Tuesday on charges of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. Online jail records did not list an attorney for Love, whose bond was set at $75,000.
Shanda Gail Simmons was left at a Quitman hospital Saturday night and told authorities that a meth lab explosion happened near her home.
Love was later located and gave permission for the search of a residence, where deputies found a drug lab in the kitchen.
Simmons was hospitalized in fair condition Tuesday at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
