Slick conditions may have contributed to a motorcycle rider losing control along the North Freeway overnight.

It happened near West Canino. The driver crashed into a curb and then into a guard rail. He was thrown off the bike and slid down the wet freeway feeder road for another 50 yards.

Investigators say he was going at a high rate of speed before the crash. He is expected to survive his injuries.
