Port of Houston CEO resigning

The CEO of the Port of Houston says he's had enough. Alec Dreyer is resigning, but says he'll stay around until a replacement is named.

Dreyer made the announcement after the DA's office announced there would be no criminal charges stemming from Dreyer's use of the port boat for a private party.

Meanwhile, the fate of Port Chairman Jim Edmonds is still up in the air. He's already ended a consultant gig with a port vendor that caused much controversy this year. The DA won't seek charges about that either.

13 Undercover reports last year detailed questionable spending and conflicts at the Port of Houston.
