Reward increased to solve man's murder at gas station

HOUSTON

On November 28, Raul Amaro stopped at a gas station located near the 13100 block of Bissonet. At approximately 7:30pm, while congregating near the side of the gas station, Amaro was approached by two male suspects. The suspects attempted to rob Amaro, and when he fought back, he was shot one time. Amaro died from his injuries.

The suspects are described as two black males, with slender builds and short hair, between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. At the time of the offense, one suspect wore a long white shirt with a red t-shirt on top, while the other wore a black sweatshirt.

Crime Stoppers is announcing an increased reward in this case. Up to $11,000 is offered for any information that leads to the filing of felony charges or an arrest in this case.
