Dillon Ryan Austin, 20, is charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child. Court documents state Austin had sex with a 13-year-old girl on three different occasions.
The mother of the victim told police that she discovered charges on her bank account that she did not recognize, coming from a company that handles collect calls from Harris Co. Jail inmates. The mother said her daughter admitted that she accepted calls from Austin and that she had sex with him in the past.
Court documents state the girl told police that she first had sex with Austin at his apartment in May. About a week later, the girl says Austin came over to her friend's house late at night and the two again had sex. And, after she had turned 14 in August, she says they had sex again, this time at the laundry room of an apartment complex.
Police say they obtained recordings of phone calls from jail where they say Austin identified himself and that the number matched the calls that were received on the girl's phone number. According to police, Austin made multiple statements during the recorded conversations confirming the sexual relationship with the girl.
At one point in one of the calls, police say Austin told the girl how to keep them out of trouble and to tell other people that she had sex with another person.
Austin was in jail at the time on charges of evading arrest and purchasing alcohol for minors.
Bond has been set at $50,000.
