Police seek possible victims of child porn suspect

HOUSTON

Hilton, 32, was arrested on November 17 following an undercover sting operation conducted by police in Wheaton, Illinois. Authorities say Hilton allowed an officer to download 10 pornographic images of children from his computer. Police tell us the children in those pictures were between one and three years old.

After serving a search warrant then at his apartment in northwest Houston, they say they found about 200 other images as well as emails and texts where Hilton allegedly bragged about molesting children.

It's unclear how many or where he might have met them, but investigators say the emails and texts indicate the possible victims could be between 3 and 12 years old, mostly boys and one girl.

Hilton worked until recently at the Foster Family YMCA on West 34th Street. Officials there say he had no direct supervision of children or children's programs, and that he worked for five years as the supervisor at the front desk. However, he was very well known.

HPD Officer JT Roscoe said, "We ask that parents in the Houston area that Christopher Hilton has had access to have a talk with their children. We're looking for any victims that Christopher Hilton may have."

We have also learned that Hilton worked previously at the Baptist Temple Church in the Heights.

A judge increased Hilton's bond to a total of $90,000. He is currently in custody at the Harris County Jail, charged with three counts of promotion of child pornography.

If you have information about potential victims you can contact HPD's Juvenile Crimes Unit at 713-731-5335.
