Man fatally shot at car wash

Police are looking for two men who shot and killed someone they tried to rob at a car wash Monday morning.

It happened at a car wash on Harwin near Gessner just before 11:30am. Police say the victim, a 28-year-old man, was vacuuming his car when two men pulled a gun and demanded money.

The victim ran away and was shot at least once in the back. He was taken to Ben Taub Hospital where he later died. His identity has not been released.

The suspects ran from the scene. One suspect is described only as a Hispanic male wearing a light gray hoodie, blue jeans and sunglasses. The other is described only as a black male wearing a dark-colored hoodie.
