The 17-year-old drove the car into a ditch on West Little York near Easter.
Police say he did not have a license but that didn't stop him from taking the car and going on a joy ride with two other teens. Police say he was speeding and lost control, then skidded into a ditch and hit a concrete culvert.
All three teens were taken to the hospital in serious condition.
