Campus police told KWWL-TV that the body of 52-year-old Paula Webster, of San Antonio, Texas, was found Friday afternoon after her family asked officers to check on her. She hadn't been heard from in several weeks.
Director of Public Safety Dave Zarifis says it appeared Webster had been dead for some time.
Zarifis also says Webster had some previous medical problems and her death doesn't appear to be suspicious or the result of foul play. An autopsy has been ordered.
Webster was a junior at Northern Iowa.
