Man accused of poisoning neighbor's dog pleads guilty

HOUSTON

Qian Feng was accused of lacing cheese balls with the chemical strychnine, and throwing them into the yard of neighbor Charlotte Liberda. Liberda's two dogs ate those cheese balls and became critically ill. She then set up surveillance cameras, and claims to have captured Feng in the act.

Feng's attorney, Brett Podolsky, says the surveillance footage does not clearly identify Feng. He claims the evidence in the case is slim.

Feng is now scheduled to be sentenced on December 16.
